Dryden Job Connect
Job Connect services help local youth between the ages of 16 and 24 gain the skills and knowledge necessary to find and keep a job. Our office is conveniently co-located with Service Canada at 41-A Duke Street in downtown Dryden. Office hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with extended hours Thursday evening until 7:00pm.

NCDS will promote, develop, implement and administer community programs for youth and adults. The delivery of service is designed to provide education, skills upgrading, employment counseling, job search training and lifestyle management. We provide: *Information, job search advice and career guidance for young people and adults.* *An Employment Resource Centre that is open to the public.* *Specialized employment services for unemployed youth aged 16-24, students, and Employment Insurance Recipients.* *Workshops, including WHMIS & YWAP, First Aid/CPR, Smart Serve, Employer Expectations, Customer Service, Interview Skills, Skills and Trades, Resume and Cover letter writing and Internet Job Search. (Free of charge to Job Connect participants.)* A Job Development Placement Service for qualifying youth. Employer support services including referrals, assistance with hiring, training, and orientation of new staff, current Employment Standards information, etc. Training incentives (wage subsidies) for employers who hire qualifying youth.
