Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce
The Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) is the active voice of business in Northwestern Ontario. Through the cooperative partnerships and collaborative efforts of our local Chambers and businesses, we lobby the government to promote active and relevant solutions to Northern issues. We are committed to the preservation and development of our unique communities to ensure a healthy economic future and a superior quality of life for our member Chambers, regional business districts and the citizens of Northwestern Ontario.
Chukuni Communities Development Corporation
The Chukuni Communities Development Corporation is funded by Industry Canada for the purpose of creating and maintaining employment through small business development. Our goal is to help strengthen the economies of Ear Falls, Red Lake and the surrounding area by assisting local entrepreneurs in the development or expansion of a small business. The Chukuni Area of Northwestern Ontario is located north of the Trans-Canada Highway 50 km east of the Ontario/Manitoba border. The Municipality of Red Lake is located at the end of Hwy 105, 170 km north of the Trans-Canada Highway. The Municipality is comprised of 5 communities and some 5,000 residents. the Township of Ear Falls is located 65 km south of Red Lake at the junction of Lac Seul and the English River. The town is home to 1,300 residents.
Dryden Development Corporation
The Dryden Development Corporation (DDC) was formed in 2007. This Corporation simplifies and streamlines the processes to help establish new businesses within the City of Dryden and surrounding area. The DDC acts as the City of Dryden's project delivery agent to meet economic development and diversification objectives relating to business retention, expansion and tourism.

Mission and Vision of the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce Mission: The Chamber is a leader in service of our business community. It acts as a lobby voice in a progressive manner to give direction and support equality within our membership. The Chamber provides high quality information to area residents and visits alike. Vision: The Chamber shall provide sound economic development advice through its expansive membership network. It shall promote its services regionally to ensure the growing prosperity of the people and the business community.
Lake of the Woods Business Incentive Corporation
As a Community Futures Development Corporation, LOWBIC offers a wide variety of programs and services to support community economic development and small business growth, including: * strategic community planning and socio-economic development; * support for community-based projects; * business information and planning services; and, * access to capital for small and medium-sized businesses and social enterprises. Within its catchment area, LOWBIC strives to strengthen and diversify the local and regional economies. As a community-based, not-for-profit organization, LOWBIC is run by a board of local volunteers. It is staffed by professionals who encourage entrepreneurship and the pursuit or economic opportunities. LOWBIC is funded by the Federal Government through FedNor and with deliverables that focus on one or more of the following activities: * Business development * Skills development * Access to capital * Retention and attraction of youth * Technological enhancements
