Indigenous Studies Program - McMaster University
The program was developed in direct response to the expressed desires of the Indigenous representatives, students and educators from this region for greater accessibility and support from the University. This program is a main focal point for McMaster's enhanced commitment to and support of Indigenous Students. The program focuses on three main objectives: to recruit and assist Indigenous students in obtaining a degree in their area of interest; to increase awareness of Indigenous culture and issues; to work collaboratively with Native communities.
