Volunteers are the lifeblood of Ancaster Community Services. Today, over 130 valued volunteers deliver vital services to our community. But we need more help urgently, particularly with Meals on Wheels, Assisted Volunteer Driving and our Let?s Do Lunch program (2nd Wed of every month in Jerseyville and 3rd Wed of every month in Ancaster). If you can volunteer as little as an hour of your time a month, please contact us immediately. Remember, charity begins at home and your donation of time will make Ancaster an even better community. Training is provided where needed. Phone: 905 648 6675

The dedicated work of volunteers is a huge part of the success of Doors Open Hamilton. This event would not be possible without our terrific volunteers. Many have so much fun that they join us every year! If you would like to meet great people, learn about your wonderful city and have a good time ? volunteer! It is an asset, but not necessary to have an interest in history, art, heritage, design, architecture and/ or construction. Students, retirees, professionals, seniors, architects, historians, social and community groups welcome.
Educators and others with free time this summer are needed to assist seniors in our community.
