Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton has been creating friendships since 1969. We started out matching Big Brothers/Sisters with Little Brothers/Sisters and have grown to include a variety of different programs that serve both boys and girls.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel - Volunteer
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel, a mentoring organization for children and youth is committed to providing caring adult relationships for children to promote their healthy development and enhance their self esteem. Children and youth in our programs are often living under stressful circumstances and need a consistent role model and friend. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel offers over 40 years of service to the community of Peel Region. We are members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC) and our service is offered in accordance with BBBSC National Standards of Service Delivery.
Peel Children's Aid - Volunteer
Peel Children's Aid protects children from abuse and neglect and helps parents and caregivers build healthy families. In addition to protecting children, which we do with the support of our Peel community, we also work with families who may be facing challenges such as poverty, unemployment, ill health, domestic violence, mental health issues, or caring for a child who has serious physical, emotional or developmental difficulties. Some families also just need parenting support'
Peel District School Board - Volunteer
Volunteering Peel is a group of students who organize volunteer events and empower other young people to get involved in our community. They work with community groups and event organizers to provide volunteers where needed.

Victim Services of Peel - Volunteer
Our mandate is to provide immediate crisis intervention to persons victimized by crime or tragic circumstances in all communities in Brampton and Mississauga. While the majority of our clients are victims of domestic abuse and other kinds of family violence, our critical response services are also available to persons victimized by sexual assault, homicide, suicide, sudden death, traffic/fire fatalities, armed robberies, etc.
Volunteer Halton
Volunteer Halton is a program of Community Development Halton and as such provides unique services to the entire Halton Region. Volunteer Halton's mandate is to strengthen communities by building a strong civil society that fosters equity at the community level. Located in Burlington and serving the Halton Region (Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills), Volunteer Halton is an advocate and catalyst for volunteerism, providing leadership and support for volunteer efforts to build the capacity of the community. Volunteer Halton advocates for volunteer rights and expectations through its membership and association with provincial and national organizations.
