FACS-Elgin is a children's aid society, mandated under Ontario's Child and Family Services Act to protect children under the age of 16 from child abuse and neglect. The agency is a private non-profit corporation formed and operated by concerned citizens in Elgin County and funded by the Province of Ontario.

Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. As all affiliates, our mission is to build and rehab homes for qualifying families in our area, selling them to our partner families at cost. Founded in 1990, Northern Fox Valley focuses on construction in Carpentersville, Elgin, St. Charles and the surrounding area.

Volunteer Elgin promotes, supports, and encourages volunteerism within the communities of Elgin County by providing its members with the opportunity to network, share ideas and resources. Volunteer Elgin started over 20 years ago by a small group of volunteer based organizations that wanted to network their voluteer experiences & facilitate these resources to help improve & increase volunteerism throughout Elgin county.
