Accreditation Assistance Access Centre (AAAC)
AAAC is pleased to provide service to unemployed Internationally Trained Professionals, Trades People and Newcomers who are working less than an average of 20 hours per week; and who are actively seeking and available to accept full-time employment, or are in receipt of a notice of imminent lay-off, or who must leave their current occupation due to medical reasons. In the case of persons with disabilities, who are unable to work full-time, and are actively seeking increased employment, we will help you navigate through the credential accreditation process. Human Endeavour
Human Endeavour has worked to promote diversity by founding a community group whose membership is open to all members of the South Asian community, regardless of their country of origin and religion. Human Endeavour has also collaborated with other seniors and community groups to create interaction between the South Asian and other communities. ODSP - MINISTRY OF COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL SERVICES
Many people with disabilities can and do want to work. Employment Supports is a component of the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) designed for eligible people with disabilities to help overcome barriers to employment. This is a voluntary program that helps eligible people with disabilities prepare for, find and keep a job in their community. You do not have to be in receipt of ODSP Income Support to qualify for Employment Supports. ELIGIBILITY - You may qualify for Employment Supports if you have a physical or mental disability that is expected to last a year or more and which makes it hard for you to find or keep a job - willing and able to work - living in Ontario - legally able to work in Canada - 16 years of age or older - You may also qualify if you are currently working, but are having difficulty keeping your job because of your disability.
