Eastern Ontario Training Board
The Eastern Ontario Training Board will continue to be the champion for local labour force development in the counties of Prescott, Russell, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry by identifying needs and facilitating solutions. This will be accomplished by cooperatively. Researching, analyzing and validating local labour force development conditions and sharing findings with our community. Facilitating the development of a community action plan to address identified local labour force development issues. Disseminating training and adjustment programs and services information to the community. Investigating solutions which utilize available resources including funding. Fostering the development of local partnerships that maximize the use of local resources. Promoting life-long learning
Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce
Since its incorporation in 1930, the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce has been promoting the tourisim, business, industries, agricultural and civics affairs of Hawkesbury and the Region. The board of directors are a group of leaders, members of clubs and associations. Always looking for the development of their municipality and the well being of their fellow citizens. The organisation of an annual Commercial Exhibition and the promotion of the tourisim with an information booth in La Maison de l'Ile, over 150 years old, and located close to the Perley bridge on the Outaouais river. Our Marina is also used to welcome our boating visitors.

Women Entrepreneurs of Cornwall and Area
Women Entrepreneurs of Cornwall and Area, or WE, was formed in 1998 by a small group of women who knew that women business owners needed to connect with one another. Within a half a year, the group had grown from 12 to 80 members, and now numbers over 90. WE's mandate is to provide a forum in which all women in Cornwall and the surrounding Area may benefit.
