Community Living Thunder Bay - Monty Parks Centre (Employment and Skill Development)
The Employment & Community Support Team meets with service users, listens to their specific career goals and then assists in all aspects of securing and continuing employment in the community. This process often leads to paid employment, job placements or meaningful volunteer activities that give people an opportunity to participate in the community. Supported Employment & Community Support staff develop and maintain ongoing contact with and support for both individuals and employers.
North of Superior Counselling Programs - Volunteer
North of Superior Counselling Programs is a leading non-profit and community based counselling agency founded in 1983. We work with individuals, couples and families of all ages to help them manage challenging mental health and addictions issues in healthy and healing ways.

We provide effective and thorough assessments to help you identify realistic job goals. We look at your medical, educational, vocational and employment history, and design an assessment based on your individual needs. Our Assessment Services can help find the workplace environment that's right for you.
Superior North Victim Services - Volunteer
We are a non-profit volunteer-based program servicing Marathon, Manitouwadge and Pic River First Nation which assists police and other emergency services in providing immediate, short-term emotional supports to victims and their families. Our agency provides service 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.
Thunder Bay Literacy Group
The Thunder Bay Literacy Group is a community-based adult learning organization. We welcome and support adults in Thunder Bay who wish to improve their basic reading, writing, math and computer skills. In addition, the Thunder Bay Literacy Group raises awareness about adult literacy issues.

At Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre our volunteers are truly exceptional people who take time out of their busy lives to help others. Volunteers provide many services which help, patients, visitors and staff such as greeting and directing visitors at the Information & Admitting Desks; delivering flowers to patient's rooms, transporting patients to from physiotherapy or keeping a small child company.
