The Canadian Hemophilia Society is an organization that works at three levels: nationally, provincially and locally. We have ten provincial chapters across the country. Some of our chapters have additional local structures that we refer to as regions.

Every day, Kids Help Phone counsellors answer calls and online questions from across Canada. No matter what the problem or concern our counsellors are there to provide immediate and caring support, information and referrals to the kids who reach out to us.

In 1884, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie opened the first hospital in Port Arthur to meet the needs of the men working on the railroad. Since then, St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG) has responded to the unmet needs of the community by changing over time and delivering new and innovative programs. Programs and services are provided throughout the community and at 9 different sites, including: Balmoral Centre, Behavioural Sciences Centre, Diabetes Health Thunder Bay, Hogarth Riverview Manor, Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital, Sister Margaret Smith Centre, St. Joseph's Health Centre, St. Joseph's Heritage and St. Joseph's Hospital. These facilities are operated by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie, sponsored by the Catholic Health Corporation of Ontario and managed by a local volunteer Board of Directors.

The Northwestern Ontario Women's Centre is a non-profit, community based, feminist organization. We endeavour to work from an anti-racist, anti-oppression framework. We rely on donations and government funding to maintain an accessible location and to respond to the needs of Northwestern Ontario women.

Our mission is to inspire the people of Northwestern Ontario to give generously to enable the advancement of world class healthcare at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Volunteer Thunder Bay! promotes and supports volunteers and the development of volunteerism and its leadership in Thunder Bay and region to enhance community quality of life.
